Annie is a Casper native, born and raised here. She graduated from NCHS and attended Casper College. After getting married in 1984, she moved to Saipan, where she lived for 9 years and then to Phoenix, AZ. She was in Arizona for 11 years and completed her training and received her degree in Health Sciences / Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University. After graduating in 2002, she went right into orthopedics.
Annie, her husband, and 4 sons moved back to Casper in 2005 and she joined Casper Orthopedics. Annie states she has been very fortunate to work with the excellent doctors here. She continues to pursue education and has completed a special certification in orthopedics. She attends regular medical conferences, many of which are associated with AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) and has also received certification through the National Osteoporosis Foundation and has opened a Healthy Bone Clinic here at Casper Orthopedics. Annie remains a member of both NCCPA and AAPA.
Annie spends the majority of her clinical time working alongside Dr. Smith, who specializes in hip and knee reconstruction and trauma. In her Healthy Bone Clinic, she treats both men and women of all ages for osteoporosis.
Outside of work, Annie loves to be outside. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, running, and golf (of which she admits she is terrible at). She is looking forward to assisting you in your orthopedic needs in order for you to get onto a healthy, happy lifestyle.
