Emily is a Wyoming native, born and raised in Powell, Wyoming. She attended the University of Wyoming, where she was a member of the UW Honors College and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in physiology. While attending UW, she was an active member of their Shotgun Sports team, where she worked her way up to president of the team and qualified for collegiate nationals four times.
Her education then took her to Billings, Montana, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College. Throughout PA school, she had a strong interest in orthopedics, and shortly after graduating and becoming a certified physician assistant, she joined the Casper Orthopedics team to pursue that interest. She is currently certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is an active member of the American Academy of PAs and Wyoming Academy of PAs.
Emily grew up participating in sports and is no stranger to orthopedic injuries, which helps her to provide empathetic care to her patients. She is looking forward to making Casper her new home and providing excellent care to the community. In her free time, you can find her shooting skeet at the local range, golfing, hunting, ice fishing, and enjoying most other outdoor activities.
